05/15/2012 - Art Festival Part of Hampton Beach State Park Gala Celebration of New Seashell Scheduled for June 1 & 2, 2012
An extensive celebration of the arts will be part of the Hampton Beach State Park Gala, scheduled for June 1 and 2, 2012 in Hampton Beach, NH. On Saturday, art lovers will enjoy a feast for the eyes as numerous paintings by New Hampshire and regional artists will be on display under the large central tent near the Seashell.

Featured will be a wide range of bands that have played Hampton Beach over the years, with a fireworks display for the grand finale.

05/01/2012 - Flume Gorge Opens for the Season Friday
For the first time in many years, early spring visitors to the Flume Gorge in Franconia Notch State Park will be able to walk the entire length of one of New Hampshire’s most popular natural attractions.

04/17/2012 - 2012 Recreational Trails Program Grant Now Available
NH Bureau of Trails announces that the Recreational Trails Program (RTP) grant applications are now available. RTP is a competitive grant program that offers funding for quality public trail projects throughout New Hampshire.

03/29/2012 - Hampton Beach State Park Meters Are Now Pay and Display
The New Hampshire Division of Parks and Recreation announces that the parking pay systems have been converted from a Park and Pay to a Pay and Display system. The meters will still accept cash, coins and credit/debit cards and will issue a receipt for payment. Visitors must place this receipt face up on their dashboard to avoid being ticketed.

03/26/2012 - Public Meeting to Review Hampton Beach State Park 2012 Operating Plans
The New Hampshire Division of Parks and Recreation and the Hampton Beach Area Commission invite you to join them on March 31st , 2012, at the new Seashell Complex to review the 2012 operating plans for Hampton Beach State Park. The meeting is from 10am to noon and will be held in the Oceanfront Conference Room. The Division will present its plan and there will be a question and answer session.

03/20/2012 - Mud Season Arrives on New Hampshire Trails
The New Hampshire Bureau of Trails wants to inform trail users that the early spring weather has created an early mud season on the trails. The Bureau is asking users to let the trails dry out before using them as they are very susceptible to damage this time of year.

03/01/2012 - Snowmobile Riders Rejoice with New Snow
The New Hampshire Bureau of Trails says today’s new snow will allow for increased snowmobile riding within the state. Even with the new snow, not all trail gates will be open so riders should use extra caution in those areas where trails have not been open this season.
