Clough State Park Title

While the park facilities are closed for the season, the park lands are always open for recreation.

Please be reminded that no comfort stations are available and all items (including trash) must be carried out with you when you leave.

Should an emergency arise during your visit, please call 911 for assistance.


Located about five miles east of the town of Weare, Clough State Park is located on the shore of Everett Lake, a 150-acre lake formed by a dam on the Piscataquog River. Favorite activities in the park include:

  • swimming - 900-foot sandy beach 
  • picnicking - picnic tables are located within a large picnic grove
  • playing fields
  • fishing - Everett Lake is a favorite among anglers
  • boating - a boat launch is available for small boats or canoes (motorized boats are not permitted)
