Yesterday at the state house, the Governor and Council voted to accept the Construction Management contract for the Hampton Beach Redevelopment Project. Harvey Construction Corporation of
“The Department has been working closely with the Bureau of Public Works in this process of hiring Harvey Construction,” stated Commissioner
Harvey Construction was selected from twelve companies that submitted bids. The selection was based on experience and general qualifications to undertake a project of this size and scope, as well as guaranteed maximum price. Harvey Construction possesses a diverse project background ranging from government facilities to hospitals to schools. They have a proven record of projects being delivered on-time and below budget. “Being a NH-based construction firm, it means a great deal to us to be involved in the redevelopment of Hampton Beach,” John Zahr, President, Harvey Construction Corporation. “Not only will we be able to deliver outstanding facilities to the State but we will be able to do so by utilizing local, NH resources and labor. We are very excited to be the State’s construction manager on this project.”
